The Background
In 1993, producers David Crane, Marta Kauffman and Kevin Bright started to work together. From the beginning of the year Crane and Marta were in a certain creative crisis. There previous film was unsuccessful and they wanted to create something funny and really interesting. NBC company management wanted to have really something new, they need to revive the ether between the family series (one of them was already ended). And then Marta and David started to write the script for the pilot episode. The idea was to describe the life of young people in New York. They have just graduated the collage and tried to take their own place in the sun. It takes about six months to create every character and the script was not ready, but the NBC channel only looked through the advanced materials and was ready to remove the pilot episode. It was really a great luck, because usually the channel waits for the whole script. Besides, Friends should be broadcast between the two main hits of NBC on Thursday’s evening. It was the second great luck! The neighbors had to provide a good start to the beginner. The producers expected that this comedy will be popular among "young-adult» Americans. Soon, in summer 1994 the preparations for filming Friends started. And as a result we receive the great comedy series which lasted ten years. Who could think about such a great success? The action takes place in Manhattan (New York). The years in the episodes complies the real years. In the episodes we introduced to the six best friends, some of them were neighbors.

All of these characters were not like others they had different problems, professions and different families. But they have something in common: everybody had a great sense of humor and loved the life most of all. The main storyline was the relationships between Rachel and Ross. None of them could decide if they want to be together or not. But TV viewers like to watch funny development of their relationship. At the end of the 10th season most all the friends got married and only Joey was single.

We know that thousands and thousands of people get used to the bright and funny Friends. For ten years the film was very popular. And after the ending of the last episode of tenth season a lot of people were upset and started to look forward for a new season. But sooner or later everything comes to its logical ending and Friends was not an exception. Recently a lot of rumors began to circulate about the future Friends reunion. Here are the main of them:
1) Recently on the Internet appeared the picture with the poster. There was an inscription Friends brand image on it, and the popular orange sofa. On the poster was written such a phrase: “The one with the reunion. Thanksgiving 2014”. A lot of fans and decided that it was a hint to the possible continuation of the episodes. Nowadays it is known that the picture was a fake poster.
2) On some of the fan websites started to appear different posts with the information that all the actors signed contracts to participate in the 4 new episodes. But it is unknown who was the author of these post and ideas.
3) Once Jennifer Aniston said that they already missed each other and want to meet together. A lot of fans interpreted her words and decided that she told about the meeting on the set.
The Warner Bros Company told the fans that they are going to film the full-length film, which will be a continuation of the series "Friends". But the idea was failed, as the Jennifer Aniston was too busy.
Friend’s fans were delighted and have started to look forward for the new season. But the information was false, it is absolutely impossible to reunion this film. It pasted for more than 10 years after the last episode had appeared. We want to dispel all the myths about the reunion of this great motion picture.
One of the producers of Friends Marta Kauffman told in a lot of interviews that fans asked her thousands of questions about the reunion of Friends. But Marta is absolutely sure that it will never happen. Firstly, the main idea of the story was to show the life of friends when they were like a big friendly family. But at the end they got their own families, so it is impossible to stay as close friends. And there is no sense to continue the Friends just because the people are still missing the main characters. It was a successful idea but it ended and that’s all. Marta advised to review the series and stop to wait the new ones. The Marta also added: it’s much better that people want it, than that they get it and don’t like it. The fear is, well, it’ll never be what it was.
It is impossible to gather all the actors together again. They haven’t been together in one room since the last episode was filmed. Nowadays they have their own film schedule and Matthew Perry moved to London.
Of course, it would be funny to see them together for some time, but remember that the film is just what we see on our TV screen but not the reality.
